Shailendra Kumar Jain

Shailendra did his BDS from India in 1980. After completing his BDS he served in Indian Army for five years. He practiced for 16 years as a private dental practitioner in India before coming to New Zealand in 2006. Dentistry has always been his passion. He keeps on updating his knowledge about the latest advancements in Dentistry and brings them in practice too.His passion towards dentistry led him to providing advanced dental treatments like Orthodontic treatment (Fixed Braces), Implants and Full mouth reconstruction very successfully, being a general dentist. He firmly believes in "Prevention is better than Cure." He always likes to inform his patients about their treatment options with the risks & complications involved.

He ismarried to Kusum, who is working as Practice Manager in his Tauranga practice ‘Complete Dental Care’. They have two lovely daughters.

Chelsea Chai

Hi, I am Chelsea. I graduated Bachelor of Dental Surgery with distinction from University of Otago. I then moved from Auckland to the Bay of Plenty. I joined the lovely team of Complete Dental in 2022.

I am responsible, easy-going and compassionate in nature. I believe in building rapport with my patients and ensuring that they have a positive experience which is key to good dentistry. I find that dentistry is incredibly rewarding when a trusting and reliable relationship is developed between the dental team and patients.

Moving to New Zealand from China at a young age, I had a bicultural and bilingual upbringing. This allows me to effectively communicate and empathise with patients of multiple ethnic backgrounds.

Outside dentistry, I like to read and cook. I love cooking new dishes for my family and friends. As a newcomer to the lovely town, I am looking forwards to discovering everything Rotorua has to offer.
